Jan J. Shim, MD, is a premier gastroenterology practice that takes a whole-body wellness approach. At her main office on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York, and an additional location in Fort Lee, New Jersey, board-certified gastroenterologist Dr. Shim and her team provide comprehensive gastroenterology care.
Dr. Shim treats conditions like constipation, Crohn’s disease, fatty liver, heartburn, colon cancer, and other diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. The practice uses advanced technology and conducts colon cancer screening screenings. All endoscopic procedures are done in collaboration with the anesthesia team painlessly in certified ambulatory facility settings.
Dr. Shim is a caring, compassionate physician who really listens to her patients. She believes in a whole-body approach rather than focusing only on the gastrointestinal system. This gives patients the reassurance they need and the reliable results they’re looking for. All Jan J. Shim, MD, office locations are currently welcoming new patients.
Dr. Shim is board-certified in gastroenterology. She has been in private practice for 25 years and sees patients at two offices, Manhattan, New York and Fort Lee, New Jersey.
